As we get closer to spring, making the proper preparations can mean the difference between a low-maintenance, manageable lawn and landscape, or a never ending battle all season long. Things you should be thinking about and planning for now are:
1. Weed control for your landscape beds (both pre and post-emerge herbicides and bed cultivation) 2. Dormant trimming for your shrubs and trees 3. Crabgrass control for your turf
Cultivation of your current mulch in your landscape beds is always a good idea midway throughout the winter. |

It's getting to be that time of year again everyone! Time to start the spring clean-up process! A good cultivation to your mulch beds will help loosen that old compacted mulch and allow nutrients and moisture to better reach your plants root system. A good pre-emergent herbicide/fertilizer combo also helps to feed the roots and keep weeds out. You should be applying or have your first app of fertilizer with crabgrass preventer around the first of March. Please don't hesitate to contact us for pricing on your spring clean-up and fertilizer program for the year!
